VL80-S – still a reliable workhorse
The electric locomotive VL80-S was built between 1979 and 1994 in the Soviet Union but it is still a important part of Kazakhstan’s national railway.

The electric locomotive was built in Novocherkassk Electric Locomotive Plant during Soviet Union times between 1979 and 1994 but it is still a reliable and common workhorse of Kazakhstan’s national railway Temir Joly.
