Good morning Zher-ana!
Zher-ana – the Kazakh Mother Earth – is releasing seven swallows into the blue sky of Kazakhstan.
We wish you a nice Monday with a photo of the post-Soviet monument “Mother Earth” (Kazakh: Zher-ana), erected in 2009 on Ordabazy Square in Shymkent. The triangular monument is 34 meters high and at the top is a young woman symbolizing Zher-ana, releasing seven swallows into the blue sky of Kazakhstan.
